We implemented a range of enhancements, including optimizing color contrast in the design to ensure readability for all users, adding accessible navigation features like keyboard-friendly menus and screen reader compatibility, and incorporating alternative text for images.

FLexible design for internal departments

The new website provided departments with the flexibility to customize their designs and colors within the new website framework while still adhering to UMass Chan Medical School's branding guidelines.
